Miss Lowans has just read us the story of Louis Braille, the blind boy who invented the raised dot system so that books could be read by blind people.
LT liked this story because he liked learning about a famous person. KD liked the story because she liked learning about blindness and braille. JWM liked it because he liked hearing about how Louis Braille helped others. DL - the book has the raised alphabet on the back so it makes the book interesting. RVDM - learnt that blind people can learn to do things to like the piano. EW liked how it told Louis Braille's story from birth to death.
