A is for Australia

N is for New Zealand

Z is for Zipping round the field

A is for Army Corps

C is for caring for others

Year 5 Camp ! K.D

On Monday 5th March 2012, the Year 5's went on camp to a marae.  They said a speech in Maori.  We sang our school song.  They sang a song as well and the a man came up and said it all in English.  We then had morning tea and after that we did a poi, sticks, fried bread and flax.  We than had another talk about the marae, and then had lunch.  We had a tour arount the marae and the hangi pit.  We then did tai chei and zumba.  We went to the field for one hourm then had the hangi.  I sort of like it but it but that's my opinion.  Dessert was apple pie with custar.  It was yum.  We did skits and then got ready for bed.

 

 

A Nice Morning k.d

It was a nice summer's morning. As I ran around on the hot concrete in the forest. A slight breeze caught my hair that started blowing in the air. It started to rain. I was getting wet, my hair still blowing in the air.




The rain was giving the flowers life. They started to bloom, what a pretty sight. I started to walk home. It was getting cold. What a nice day it has been. I am feeling happy like my mum giving me ice cream.
