year 6 camp bk

On 23 of April we went to camp in the morning at 7.30am . We went in a bus I sat with M.D we got bored in the bus it was a two hour drive to Sandspit. We stopped to have morning tea and then we caught a ferry and went to Kawau Island.Then we got all our luggage and then we were told to go to our rooms.In my room I had my friends with me.

After that we went for a really long walk and then we had lunch . We got to swim at the beach, the water was cold but it was fun . When we went back to camp we had downtime. On Tuesday we had lots of activities my favourite one was kayaking. We kayaked  to another island. On Wednesday we went to School House Bay and the Mansion House it was another long walk. I got to eat my yummy lunch at the copper mines. On Thursday we did more activities. On Friday we watched Garfield and got lollies. The ferry picked us up  and  we were on our way home. I was glad to see my family.

Term 1 Reflection

I am in Room 22 and it is a really nice class to be in. My teacher is name is Miss Lowans and she is a really nice teacher and she is a perfect teacher to have. So far I have einjoyed going to
Pak n Save for a trip and learning about healthy food that we should eat everyday and food that we should only eat sometimes.

In class I think I have have to improve on writing poems with personification. In reading I am in the group Non Fiction. In maths my teacher is Mrs Foot and she teaches me fun and good strateges.Mrs Green comes every second Friday to teacs us and we have fun doing art.

I am looking forward to Year Six camp next term.

swimming sports BK

On Tuesday we had swimming sports. It was a really hot day a and after swimming sports everyone got free time.Each class got 20 minutes in the pool.We got to do dives.It was heaps of fun but the water was a little cold but soon it got hotter.

Iplayed tag and I got tagged twice.The water was calm and blue.When we jumped in pool there were splashes all over the uan and I had swimming race Yuan won the race.We did freestyle in our race.I place.

IT WAS AWESOME!!!

The Walk in the Forest

It is an Autumn day. The long skinny trees are slowly moving side to side. The yellow and pink leaves are getting old and dropping down into the blue deep dark river. The big mud puddles are getting bigger and bigger.

That bushy bush is and darker and darker. Insects are flying around. It is so silent all I hear in my ears are birds singing with their soft voices. As I come out of that bushy bush I feel so happy to be in such a peaceful place.
