Term Two Relfection AM

This term has been awesome. I learned how to; make plastic bottle fish for art, how to write reports on marine animals because our inquiry is about marine life and animals. I learned a lot in maths, inquiry, writing, reading .

 In maths we got into groups like the family of fracts, basic facts and the place value so I was in the family of facts.  So we were in groups right so Miss L called one group everyday and she makes books for each group and she teaches us in it.  For my group we counted up the number line by adding and subtracing 100's and the last to are in 1000's. Now in maths we do factions like 1/2 and all the others. We got to do it with Smarties (chocolate) I LOVE MATHS!!!

Now it's time for writing and reading.

Term One Relfection AM

This term we had a healthy lunch and we got to make it our self's , we voted cause we had a lot of ideas so we had two kinds for food and one drink, so we had Sushi, Chicken Warps and a Berry Smoothie it was so delicious.

The year fives went on a school camp we went to Sonshine Ranch for two days . The first we day was at the marae on the second day we went to Sonshine Ranch ,we got to ride horses we learned how to guide a horses mine was called Lina she was so cute she was the 3rd biggest. Everyone had fun well I did.I can't wait for next years camp.

In maths I never understand place value but now I do and it is fun to do i think that maths is getting really fun maths. I bet that term two is going to be so great.

Year 5 camp, A.M

On the 6th Tuesday 2012 all the Year 5's went to Sonshine Ranch. It took about 10 minutes to get there from the marae. When we got there, we got split up into groups A and B. I was in Group A. We got to go horse riding and feed the bunny rabbits and touch the goats. Half of Group A went to feed the pets. The others went horse riding. I went feeding the pets first. I got to go and pat the bunny rabbits. I got to hold the bunny. It was white and so cute. I got the black one and the grey one too.

Once we did that the other group came. First we went to get our helmets. My size was 54 and my horse was called Lina. She was cute. We went around in a circle 5 times, and then 4 times zig zagging around the poles.

After that we went on the track. We had to lean forward when going up the hill and lean back if we were going down.

drinking a chocolate milkshake

I was drinking a chocolate milkshake. I drank it so slow so that the little chocolate bites come in my mouth and then I chew on it so I get the taste and I can drink it longer and because its so good.

I suck on the straw so slowly. I finished the milkshake and I make a loud racket when I finish. My dad said to stop it and I said OK and then my sister did and then I wanted other on.

I love milkshakes!!!!
